PayByPhone parking is available directly in front of PJ’s in designated spaces. Guests can also find 2-hour street parking along University Avenue and Dean Avenue.

PJ’s is a fully student-run teaching restaurant, and all menu prices are designed to support learning outcomes rather than generate profit. Because students are not permitted to receive tips, any gratuities collected would not go directly to them. Instead, we encourage guests to share feedback about their dining experience. Your comments help students strengthen their skills and continue improving the quality of service we provide.

Unfortunately, we do not. PJ’s currently accepts debit, credit (excluding American Express), and cash as methods of payment. We do not accept internal coding.

PJ’s is a student-run teaching restaurant, and part of the learning experience involves planning, forecasting, and managing food costs and waste. Because our student teams design and execute an ever-evolving daily menu, only a limited number of each dish is prepared. While students use industry-standard forecasting methods, we can’t fully predict what guests will choose on any given day. As a result, some items may sell out, an important part of learning how to balance menu creativity, guest demand, and responsible ingredient management in a real-world setting.

PJ’s operates from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on select days when lab sessions are in session. For the Winter 2026 semester, we are open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We encourage guests to book reservations before 1:00 p.m. to allow enough time to enjoy their meal and the full dining experience.

Yes! We accept takeout orders throughout service where quantity and staffing allows. Please come in person to place your order.

Reservations for lunch are strongly encouraged, as they help us plan food production and ensure a smooth service for our student team. We do welcome walk-ins when space permits. Reservations can be made through the Reservation page on our website. For parties of eight or more, please email us to book. An automatic service charge of 18% will be applied to reservations of 6 or more.
